Each of my modified firmwares has shuffle under V.Surround key on the remote controller.

Yes, this is the way to see which song is, but if I want to play same song again next time when insert disk, I must to scroll and search. There is no number of track to recall next time.
Maybe It is possibile buta I dont know haw.

Unfortunately, pioneer players are not designed to work with mp3 files. They are DVD/DivX players. They can play mp3 but ergonomy is not perfect. In original FW, there is even no posibility to random playback of mp3 files. If you look for good mp3 player with full functionality, you should probably look for another player (iPod for example ).
