Hi, All.

Are anybody knows how to make player to play mp2 files??
The codec exists in it as it can play VCD disks. But files with mp2 extention is ignored by it.
When I've rename mp2 to mp3 it's refused to play. BTW in extention list on ARM part mp2 exists.
So what should be done??

Try to rename to mpg. mp3 is reserved for music without video stream.

RMVB exists too. Try to rename like lechu said. If it will not work then only one way will be making SVCD or DVD disc. You won't need any recompression in that case.

If so, preparing SVCD or DVD is only way for play such files. Or recompression to divx.

Folks, I think, that Patron is asking for this, not only to solve a problem with few of his files, but to make proper fw modyfication As you all probably know, Patron made a patch for choosing mp3 files, using number keys on remote control.
I'm very interested in any ideas to make a patch for that, unfortunately have not enough knowlage to shere my own.
