- Unrar
- Burn YDB6C18A.BIN file as a data
- Use CD-RW or CD-R
- Disc name : PIONEER - all capital letters
- Disc-At-Once and closed
- File name must be burnt also all capital letters including extension: YDB6C18A.BIN
- Put burnt CD into the player, when prompt for upgrade press ENTER
- Do not touch, do not unplug, do nothing just wait untill disc tray opens, then you may ONLY take out CD
- Then do not touch, do not unplug, do nothing just wait until disc tray close itself, player turns off and on again ITSELF.

IF YOU UNPLUG POWER OR PRESS BUTTONS DURING UPGRADE PROCESS, YOU WOULD KILL YOUR PLAYER, SO BE PATIENT.
Upgrade last up to cca. 3,5 minutes

Hello, I´m from Argentina and I have with several years the pioneer dv-393-s with rom version YDA6824A and never changed the firmware.
Now I want to try update the firmware. Which version do you recommend for spanish subtitles for my version of dvd?
Anyone could post images of the changes of the firmwares, backgrounds, size and shape of the subtitles, etc.?
