gielkop, if you mean International version of Robert's fw the only way is to create (or save from some other firmware) new fonts with MtkFontCreator and replace them in fimrware using MTKRemaker.

I created a new font with MtkFontCreator and replaced it in the firmware. Now it´s great.

Gielkop, have you modified the Robert's firmware version that includes the pan&scan patch from Dinderi? If that's so, would you be so kind to post this modified firmware?

Let me tell you a couple of problems I found out. The subtitles color is black (I dont know if there's a way to change it) and the second line appears cut off. I hope it works for you.
I had to go back to Robert's firmware with big letters.

Dear all,
on my DV393 I've just installed the firmware of Robert with Dinderi pan&scan and Tihomir graphics.
That's really great !
I have some CDs and DVDs with tens or hundreds of photos and/or mp3 files, sometimes divided into more directories.
It's extremely difficult to me to reach the desired photo or the desired mp3 file, with my dv393.
How should I do? There is a method that I don't know?

Hello everybody!
First, thanks alot for your job, latest firmware made my 393 almost complete, I really loved it.
But there's still a little annoying thing: when in filebrowser, there is a line at the top showing current directory, and it is not displayed in the filebrowser font, so russian dir names are unreadable. With this bug fixed, this device will be completely perfect!

Open original firmware with MTKRemaker
Save Font 1
Open modyfied fw with MTKRemaker
Replace font 1 for the one you saved from original firmware.
Save firmware, Upgrade your player
Will work.

Why original? It does not display russian filenames at all.

Oh, Sorry Sergio, I made a mistake. You need this firmware with special fonts at Font 4. You may download original Robert's mod firmware supporting Russian form here
If you want firmware with Pan&Scan enabled, you need to replace font 4 from robert's mod, I linked, in firmware from our download section.
