hey Dindei,

I wanted to thank you again for moding robert FW.

the FW of Pioneer 393\490 is still not advanced when comparing it to 383 FW.

anyway,
now the FW update you created is the most advanced FW for Pioneer 393\490.

I've created a site where people can download the FW "as it is" - like you sent me,
and also with another font which is a bit smaller.

In version you release on your site, the background was made by probably Tihomir, not me. I also did nothing to other graphics in that firmware. I sent Tihomir, beta firmware just to test. But he released it on softpedia, changing background, filbrowser and may be other things that I do not know.
So, the only fw I take any responsibility for, is the one in our Download section.
Any way your site look nice and will be useful for dv393/490 users, for sure.

I'm not sure if I understand you right.
I used original Robert's fw and just added Pan&Scan patch. did nothing else. Sent it to Tihomir, as he declared he has a cable to resurect the player, in case I did something wrong. So I only added the patch and did nothing else into Robert's fw.
In our Download section, there is Polish version of this mod firmware. I also replaced graphics, some icons and all fonts.

i downloaded the FW for 490 and it is pure perfection. Subtitles, everything just perfect. i was just wondering is it possible to leave english OSD in modified FW??

You can switch OSD language to English, can't you? Polish is default but English still exists. :-)

no. there is polski french deutch italiano espanol and that is it. it is in display>menu language right??

I meant that you not needed to make changes on the FW after you sent it toTihomir (the patch you insert was working well and you didn't need to make changes - the beta FW is OK), right

Uzice seems to be in Serbia or Croatia isn't it?
If you mean the fw from our download section, with Polish menu, I can prepare Serbian version of this firmwre. There is translation made by Duh Sa Sekirom, and it fits. There is no need to have English menu.

I updated language BIN of Duh Sa sekirom. It Had Some Mistakes. I tried to make it perfect.

I did it myself. Thank you for the idea and modified firmware. It works like a charm.
just a question. Which font is used for divx subtitles?? (on the list in fw). it could use just a bit thicker outline
is it possible to enable more then 5 languages in fw and if it is how to do it
