Apologize if this post is in the wrong section...
When set my DV400V to HDMI-resolution higher than 576p horisontal "lines" or "horisontal picture distortion" appears on the lower part of the screen after a few minutes of viewing video.
It looks like a narrow horisontal portion of the picture is shifted a few mm's to one side, and samoetimes also one or two black lines appear together with this "shifted" line.
This appears on original DVD's, and i have tested this on two different TV sets, a Panasonic HD-Ready plasma (TH42PX70E) and a Samsung FullHD LED (UE46B7070WW). I have tride with three different HDMI cables as well.
Is this a problem known to anyone in here? Is there a fix for this?
EDIT: I must add that the TV screen also flashes in pink on these "wrong" resolution settings. |

Try with a reset of the unit.
in Off mode, press and hold the STOP button and then press STANDBY/ON button.
It's the buttons on the player it self to be used!
If this dont help, try to update the firmware!
What firmware version is you player runing now? |
