Hi people I have upgraded my player with last firmware of gufiak and weeks later the player switch off and appeared in the dislpay "NO ID NUMBER", i tryed reflashing with original or modified firmrware y it happened again. I would someone to help me.

You need a special ID DVD and the Pioneer Service remote to set this ID number again.
The Dvd-player should function as normal even with this message.
You find the ID number on the backside of the player!!

We also have a pioneer in the same features and with the same problem. Appears in the display "not id num." The unit runs but yesterday he began not read any disk and the message appears on disc. In the initial seting appears the option dvd-audio and I can not make a video-d option. Anyone could help me?

It's a corrupted or damaged eeprom memory problem. Reflash your player with the original frimware and take it to the service centre.
